Sunday my oldest grandaughter and I were out to Lake Zumbro and with the changing colors of the leaves and good fishing it was the place to be. Brianna was a ”fishin machine” showing me she was ready to catch some fish by catching one after another. This gal is a great fishing partner. Bluegills were found on the bottom so jigging our bait or just holding it an inch or so off the bottom was what put fish in the boat. Mini-Mites and waxies were the bait of choice. Being able to feel the first tap on sensitive St. Croix rods we were able to set the hook quick enough to catch the fish. Fall is a great time of year to be on the water catching fish. Hope to see you out there.
Thanks, Bill
