”Good Times” On Lake Zumbro

    Mike Smith [HOF] and I spent Saturday afternoon fishing Lake Zumbro and after some searching we had the spot on the spot in the area we found the fish in narrowed down pretty good. Mini-Mites tipped with a waxie again was the winning ticket to alot of nice gills, perch, and a few crappies thrown in the mix. It was a great day to spend on the water with the sun shining, warm temps and some good catch happening.

    The perch are alive and well in this lake which was kind of a surprise to me as I have not seen alot of them before this day.

    Sure was another fun day!
    The fish were the least cooperative they have been so far this fall, but some experimentation with depth and different areas proved to be well worth it. Goes to show that you need to keep moving, trying different depths and different baits until you find success.
