I’m sure there was too. Like Brad said they will fish until theres to much ice to break. There is a couple die hards. My boat is all cleaned and put away now. My mind has make the switch to bowhunting. The last time I was down to the river fishing, all I could think about was hunting….I knew it was time.

Eric, try thinking of it this way when on the water in fall time: You are ”hunting” for fish.
    Thanks, Bill

    Hey Bill,

The number of boats is getting just about right for you and I to give it a try!

    Good Fishing,
    Mike

I was kinda thinking that if nobody else shows up WE could win every bass tournament this winter. Come on no-shows!!!
    Thanks, Bill

Now there’s a thought! A winter ice fishing bass tournament! Might be kind of difficult to get those 200 hp motors to move quickly…

    Good Fishing,
    Mike

Might even be hard to get our 200 lb. frozen motors [bodies] to move very quickly too. Whatever it takes to slow those hot bass sticks down so we can beat em.

Well it was cold and WET but three boats showed this morning
Not a lot off fish caught but some nice ones.
They seemed to be scattered out here and there, some deep, some shallow. The bite also slowed considerably after about 9:30.

    2nd-Ken and Evan—-2.5lbs.-2 fish

No snow yet Eric. Are you coming out of retirement [retirement for the year only] to try get your title back?
    Thanks, Bill

Thanks everyone for the bass fishing tournament reports this past year. Am looking forward to next year when they start up again on Tuesday nights. Might even try a few of them myself as I hear they need someone to take over last place for next year. They look and sound like alot of fun and its a great way to learn more about bass fishing on the Lake. I’m a walleye guy and panfish in between walleye outtings so learning more about bassin would be fun. In fact I plan to learn more about bassin and catfishin next year. I just want to be on the water more is what it boils down to.

    Thanks, Bill
