I too made it out to the mighty Zumbro on Thursday. My dad and I caught some real bull gills in deep water. Along with the gills, we pulled in three catfish and several bass. The highlight of the day was when I was pulling in a seven inch sunnie, a huge fish came up and swallowed my sunnie. 
My dad was fishing with me and was quick with the net. Turned out to be a 21 1/2 inch largemouth! By far the biggest bass I have caught. We took some pictures and put her back in the lake for someone else to enjoy. Talk about a great experience.
