Had the pleasure of fishing the Walleye Searchers Bring A Friend Tournament last Saturday on Pool 4 with my oldest grandaughter and even though we were fishing for walleyes we had much better luck catching the ”other fish.” Brianna had never seen a fish so big and heavy as the carp that was peeling line of the reel like crazy. Even though it was the wrong species it was alot of fun to catch for us along with other non-walleyes too. Quality time on the water is much more important than what you catch. It certainly was a quality day fishing with her.
