Made it out today and got to Fisherman’s Inn about 7:30. Right off the bat we caught a couple dozen smaller whitebass, They are fun as every fish that was on I let the youngster reel it in! The bite at that spot sloweed down at about 9:30 so we moved over towards the dam. Picked up a couple larger White Bass and that bite seemed to shut down just as we got there. Tried a couple more areas that looked like they had promise and tried a little bit of trolling. 12:00 came and the lake started getting busy so we pulled off.
It was a great day to be out and even better when you get to spend it with someone who has been waiting all week to go fishing! I think I found somebody who likes driving the boat more than I do!
