Went to the lake the other night and it’d been a while since I’ve been on the water so three of us slow-trolled a shoreline we have had success with in the past. I was using a tube jig and the other two were using ice jigs with a waxie. The fish hit hard up until about 1 a.m. with a lot of mixed results. My tube jig produced only crappies and whites. The jig/waxies produced sunnies, some crappies, whites, sheephead and a cat. The tube jig put almost all of the crappies in the boat and was probally the same as both the other rods combined as far as numbers go, but we all caught good numbers of fish. The second best part of the night was that there were NO mosquitos!!!
