Too hot for me

Yesterday was a cooker and today will be no different. Had a couple hours to kill this morning, so thought I would practice casting at Foster Arends. No trout for me today. They are a cold water species, so suppose they are way down deep. There were hundreds of tiny small rock bass along the shore line. By 10:30 the bugs were starting to get the best of me and could definately feel the heat. Oh to have those days in the 70’s back again.

Yep the heat is a bit more than I like. Would rather experience this heat in February down in Florida!
The trout at Fosters have been coming mostly on powerbait fished on the bottom.

    Good Fishing,
    Mike

Last weekend I was on the Mississippi River both days and yes it was hot but there was more breeze on the water than on shore. Can hardly wait to get back out there. Think I fried my brain?
    Thanks, Bill
