I hit chester woods on saterday for about 5 hours in my boat. I caught and released about 60 nice bluegill and brought a few home for super. I had best luck with a white and orange ice fishing jig tipped with a waxie. Troy

Thanks for the report Troy. Was the jig below a bobber? If so how much below the bobber and in how deep of water were you fishing? Thanks, Bill

Yes jig was below a bobber about 4 feet and water was about 8 feet deep. Me and ashley went out today and didn’t do as well as I did yesterday. Only caught about 20 bluegill and only had 3 nice keepers. Funny how 24 hours with the same weather can be so different for fish biting. Troy
