And the fun is just beginning. Been checking out some shore spots on the Zumbro River going through town that are low on water right now so when the water gets higher [normal] I will know where the holes are vs where the flats are. Getting closer to trying out those 10 ft. collaping fishing rods too at Foster Arends. They should be great for shore casting. Lots of time on the water for this guy this year fishing different techniques for different fish = FUN! Between you always ”sneaking” away from work and Rons love for panfish and with ”everyone” on the Rochester Area Lakes forum we all should have the Rochester Area Lakes covered pretty good.
    Thanks, Bill

You are correct Bill! I know there are lots of fisherpeople that only view this forum, but I would like to encourage everyone to also participate with their own posts. We all can learn from each other. Also, just because you may post on a different fishing website does not mean you cannot also post here. You are all invited to share and learn along with the rest of us!

    Good Fishing,
    Mike

That is 100% correct Bud. Everyone can share and post here. We ALL learn from each others sharing about their fishing outtings. Sharing what worked as well as what didn’t work really helps everyone learn alot. When I put my jon boat in yesterday at Lake Zumbro I counted 8 trailers plus mine in the ramp parking lot. And later a good half dozen bass boys came out and there were also some guys that had put in at Fishermans Inn too. Now if you add that total of boats out there and if everyone shared here on the forum you can imagine how much we all could learn. You don’t have to give spots away, we are not asking for that, just share on your techniques and general area fished like flats, rocky shoreline, humps, wood, trolling, casting, jigging, slip bobbering, etc.
    Thanks, Bill
