Fishing is starting to pick up on some of the local ponds. Foster-Arends Lake has slowed down a little but is still producing some nice trout. The picture is of Ron(RHW) with a 16 inch rainbow which was released.

Lake Zumbro is just starting to produce some crappies. They will usually be somewhere along the steep shorelines. You will need to find what depth they are at. One day they may be deep and the next day will be shallow.

I have not had many reports from the other ponds around town, but I’m sure they are all ready to offer up some good fishing soon.

HOF has a great selection of minnows and worms as well as jigs and other tackle for your fishing needs!

    Good Fishng,

    Mike

Thanks for the report guys. Looks like some fun! How deep were you set and what was the bait that worked for you guys? Do you have LOTS of plastics and floats [bobbers] for the Zumbro bite that will be picking up soon?
    Thanks, Bill

    Hi fishingty,

    Welcome!
Foster is located just off 37th St. NW on East River Road. There is a Greenway gas station on the opposite side at the corner where you turn. It is about a block on the left side after you turn onto E. River Road.

    Good Fishing,
    Mike
