Was out to Lake Zumbro for a couple hours Thursday afternoon. The bite was slow, but had been better earlier in the day. Mostly bluegills with a few crappies, as well as assorted carp, sucker, catfish and northerns. They have mostly been fishing in front of Fisherman’s Inn, but get on the ice from the boat ramp area.
Foster Arend Lake has still been producing trout.

Just a word of caution….the ice is gettin thin around the edges in many places.

I was out walking around this afternoon (not fishin) and I dropped my right leg through up to my thigh trying to get on the ice …….I even had a spud, but apparently I wasn’t using it correctly

I figured that this may be the last of the fishable ice around town so, that is why I was wonderin’ who was out and if anything was biting.
