A slow day on the pond for the boy and I. 2 crappies, 2 gills and one perch. All on waxies. At least I caught more than the kid. His answer was that his one fish was quality and and mine were just quantity. All of them together would have made one good sandwich. Just another beautiful day.

Sounds like you must have hit the day Bill was going to go (just kidding!) I have heard some very good reports on the trout over there, but some days are better than others. Just gotta keep trying!

    Good Fishing,

Mike, the only time I don’t catch fish at Fosters is when you and I go together. We have to change our luck together Bud.

As for my friend Jake, I’m dying here waiting for open water at Fosters and Lake Zumbro so how about opening up that ice melt bag of a pic you have and melt this snow. Can’t wait for spring. Sure I like ice fishing but open water is so yummmmmmm and so funnnnnnnnnnnnn and I’m anxious.

How safe is Fosters on the north end of the lake? Last I knew there was a dangerous area on the NE side where a spring is.

    Thanks, Bill
