Trout Day is an event for everyone of all ages, whether you fly fish, spin fish, bait fish, don’t fish or want to learn how.

How to’s in stream and small river fishing, both for trout and smallmouth.
Fly-fishing and spin fishing help
AND FREE DOOR PRIZES, ranging from Professionally guided fishing trips from across the state to fishing tackle and gift certificates to local outdoor sporting good stores.
The DNR’s MINN AQUA will be attendance again this year to provide youth fishing and outdoor programming.
The DNR’s Lanesboro Fisheries office will be on hand to to demonstrate electro-fishing and provide information on recent creel surveys and data collection on SE MN streams and Rivers!
Come on down to fish, meet others and maybe learn a thing or two!
I am always looking for volunteers, (experienced “stream walkers”) and for donations.

Trout Day is a Non-Profit Event. It was created to share our wonderful resources(SE MN Streams and Rivers), learning to enjoy them through fishing, while increasing conservation and resource management awareness for young and old.
