Did the Zumbro yesterday. Hooked up with tmusky. We got away from ALL the crowds of people & shacks, We didn’t get into anything to speak of, But was a great day on the ice. Talked to C&R out there for a bit, He was headed off in search of new spot where no one was fishin also. Don’t know how he did. We did get a few fish, Gills, & a nice crappie, Fished a small jig (red) in about 29fow.

I wish I would have had the map with me ’cause I never did find the spot I was looking for. I was just a little off. Managed one small perch and had a few LARGE marks on the Vex that examined my offering but swam away. Gonna go try Mayowood for an hour or so then hit up the pits or Zumbro again if no luck at MW. Will keep you posted.

I was out there friday. People were driving on it then. The ice was thick I dont know how thick but my truck didnt go through. Didnt hook up with any fish but was still fun.
