I am wondering if anyonre here has any suggestions for a trip for a group of guys to go up north to a lake that has good bass fishing and good muskie fishing. I know it is winter and we should be ice fishing but all i can think about is bass fishing so any ideas on a good muskie/bass lake up north somewhere? Thanks

    Hi Mark,

You may want to give Dreamers Resort a look. They are located on Big Lake, 10 miles east of Bemidji. The lake offers good fishing for musky and bass, as well as walleye and panfish. The cabins are all modern and recently updated, and reasonable in price. They also have a campground. You can see info at http://www.dreamersresort.com or talk to them at their booth at the Rochester Sports & Vacation Show.

    Good Fishing,
    Mike

Thanks, last year we went up to Little Boy lake, which is located near Longville. This year the trip is planned for Mantrap. We caught a bundle of bass last year and 2 musky, this year we hope to catch as many bass and more musky. The weather played a big part last year since we went in early august when it was about fifty degrees IN AUGUST. horrible, we still had fun
    Thanks again

I would recomend Angler’s Beach Resort on Cass Lake. This lake has it all. Including World Class Muskie Fishing. The resort is at http://www.fishandgame.COM under lodging.

i dont fish for bass very often but for musky i would go to either cass, winni, or battle lake. only ones ive fished on and got musky im sure there are better but thats what ive had from experience.
