Finally got out to Willow creek for the first time to fish and thought we would never get fishing. First we had trouble finding it even though we had good directions but heaven forbid we would write them down. Then got out their and got out on the ice and the auger would not start. So back home to get the old manual one which we will not leave without again. Finally got to fishing it was slow but wnough bite to keep you their and actuall kept about 8 decent ones. We were fishing in about 10 feet of water with teardrop jigs bot orange and green seemed to work. Most of the bigger ones were close to the bottom but we did catch a few suspended about 5-6 feet down. As always when fishing met a few nice people and they seemed to be having similar luck. It was a lot of fun and now we know where it is. I will try to post a picture but I have not had much luck doing this.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like you had fun even though it started out with problems. Thats what is great about fishing-it helps you forget about problems-good therapy. Thanks for sharing. Thanks, Bill

Glad you had luck out there. Willow Creek is kind of hard to find the first time but its worth the trouble. Troy Pike
