I finally got out on the ice today! Managed a couple hours this afternoon at the backwaters near Kellogg. The bluegills were really going well! No problem keeping a nice meal of 7-8 inchers. I was in about 3 ft. of water and I worked the water column up and down. Most bites came in the bottom ft. of water. Ratso’s seemed to get more large fish, but a small tear drop with a waxie caught more fish.
It was great to be on the ice again!
Good Fishing,
Mike
