I’m not telling since you don’t think ice fishing any fun. Haven’t heard anything yet Bud. But I’m sure they are biting right now as I’m not there if you know what I mean. It like the o’l saying: you should have been here yesterday. I suppose you are on winter break and dying to catch some fish. Don’t forget to post all about your catches since you can fish everyday. Yes, I’m jealous, I admit it.
    Thanks, Bill

Was nice to meet you as well. I ended up with some crappie (no keepers) a few misses and lots of marks/follows once I figured out what spoon to use. Gonna exchange that auger tomorrow a.m. and head out again… pretty dissapointed Good luck tomorrow!

Yes, Don’t know what’s up with your auger. Don’t blame ya for taking it back. I would. Good luck with the new one . How did tmusky end up doing? How long did ya stay out?

TMusky stayed out til about 6 or a little later and was catching the craps as well I believe, but hopefully we can get him to stop lurking and tell us himself. Dunno what the other guys were using but I finally found a 1/16th oz superglow chub colored forage minnow tipped with a waxie on each barb to work. was marking them at different depths, lots off the bottom.

Hey MrMuskie! Yup, next day I went to Cabelas to exchange it. Unfortunately they were out of the 10″ so I downsized to an 8″, oh well, I’ll just overlap the holes. The 8″ cuts great. Either I got a bunk powerhead or the powerhead is too weak for 4 blades on a 10″….who knows
Went to Chester again lastnight and reeled in some bass and craps, good time again. Did you end up going west? Hope you had a good time!

Just for everyones info you can buy a season pass to Chesterwoods Park for only 25.00 a year. They have a big congrete ramp where you can put your boat in [electric trolling motors used only, gas motors on the boat are fine but can’t use them] and catch fish. They have a beach for swimming, have swings etc for kids to play on, and have campsites that you can rent. Really nice park.
    Thanks, Bill
