Red wing? hows it been

    Hey DP,

    The bite has been very good on some days. You can read several reports on the “In-Depthangling.com Fishing Reports” forum and the “Mississippi River” forum (click on MN fishing first and then scroll down).

    Well I got out on THursday and fought the wind for a little while. We had fair luck catching 14″ to 18″ sauger. They seemed to be in 20 to 24 feet of water, and we were using chartruse 5″ ringworms tipped with minnows. They were not coming fast but the quality was their. Tried to fish down stream a little but the wind was stronger than we were. Still was fun trying.
