Lake Zumbro

I was out on Lake Zumbro this morning and noticed on the rocky shorelines that the water was down a good foot or more On the rocks that are now exposed that use to be under water I saw thousands of little zebra mussels. And I means thousands. The rocks were covered with them. Not good. Granted they will help clear up the water but there were way to many of them. Hopefully the water level will not come up and the mussells will die from being out of the water. Fishing was slow [more interested in playing with my new toy] but did catch some small bass on jigs and paddletails. Darker colors were best. Thanks, Bill
