Fished pool 4 on Saturday. Fishing was a little on the slower side while numbers of smaller fish were there but size was not. I pulled Cranks, Ripped Blades, Casted Hair, Pitched Plastic. I hooked into 2 slobs down river but was unable to get a look at them, the water was pretty dirty. I did notice down river that the fished wanted MEAT. I love to fish plastics but I just could not seem to put together a specific pattern or location. I noticed last week the water in Lacrosse was alot cleaner and water temp was cooler. I would only expect the dam to get better at 4, next time I will be concentrating on sand flats with good current flow and breaks. The one I would have loved to get a look at was in 2 ft and hooked up as soon as the jig hit, I assumed I had a snag but then she moved. Gotta love the unknown? Tight Lines#5

Joey, is pool 4 the alma dam? I fished there today with a couple friends and I seen a white boat with a indepth angling sticker on the side of it. Mabe you? Fishing was slow. Caught about 50 fish between the 3 of us in 8 hours. Brought home 10 good sized saugers.
