Here is another pike. Unfortunately, this one could not be revived, but the rest of these pike caught by Chris were released.

OK Jake, here is proof that toothy critters are swimming and being caught in Lake Zumbro!

These fish were all caught within the past 2 weeks, and there were several others not pictured. The fish in the pictures weighed between 8-15 lbs.

    Good Fishing,

    Mike

I sure hope our friend Jake doesn’t have a heart attack when he sees these fish. Yep, they were ALL caught since August 29th 2004 Jake. Sure looks like Chris is a Lake Zumbro Pike Expert if you ask me. Thanks for sharing. Thanks, Bill

BWWWWAAAAHAHAHAHA!!!!! you guys think you can fool me……..BWWWWWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

not gonna happen……I can see right through your foolish tricks!!! Those fish are obviously stuffed .

So Mike, is Bill in on this too? Did you guys pool your money to buy a couple mounted slimmers off Ebay just so you could get some random guy to pose with them in attempt to prove me wrong ………I wouldn’t put it passed Bill (he’s one sneaky devil), but come on Mike, I thought you had more dignity than that

It was a nice try though

Hey Jake!!! Who you callin “just some random guy” ? JK

I know Mike and Bill really wanted this to work, but it looks like the gig is up. They’ve been planing this evil trick for weeks, and this is the best they could come up with. Oh well, that’s a bummer for you guys. At least I still got my $20 out of the deal

I guess Jake is just too smart for us average folk. I bet he’s even too smart for his own good sometime.

    KUDO’s JAKE……..KUDO’s

Well that’s awfully nice of you to come on here and say Chris. I knew you were a good guy……The twisted minds games those two crazies try to play sometimes are absoloutly ridiculous. But oh well, We know who the better man is

See around Chris, and let me know if you ever wanna do some real fishin

    Hey Chris,

Glad to see you made it to the forum! Don’t encourage Jake, he really doesn’t need any help!
I think Bill and I need to get out there and catch some of them toothy critters soon.
Maybe Jake can get Walleye Searchers to move the next tournament to Lake Zumbro? Then you can see some real fisherman in action out there.

    Good Fishing,
    Mike

I thought I heard Bill retired from fishing. Something about too much work for such an old fart……I don’t know if he could handle all those hugemongous lake zumbro pikeral. His arms might fall off (and that would just be horrible)

I can’t make up my mind if I think Chris is a Lake Zumbro Pike Geru [my first impression], OR hes just a nice guy who took a bribe from Jake [needed more pike lures], OR he sold out to Jake for a few crummy bucks, OR hes related to Jake somehow [poor guy] after that last post by him. Here proof is provided that Pike are REAL and caught with pics and everything. Sounds to me that Jake is just eating his heart out cause he couldn’t catch pike like that.
    Thanks, Bill

Mike, after stopping by and talking with Dorothy (she told me lots of things I didn’t know about Jake) I stopped at Lake Zumbro…to let the pups out and take the wife for a walk.

I noticed a group of kids along the shoreline fishing with cane poles and bobbers. As I got closer, they were pulling in the pike, left and right! I ask one of the guys if fishing is always this good. He glared at me and said “this good! We’re all trying to get those bull bluegills, but the damn northerns keep hitting”.

Just wondering if pike fishing is always that good down there….

It’s a well kept secret Brian. We don’t want to make Jake feel bad you know.
I hear the water ski club has stopped going into certain areas because the really large pike have taken a liking to the skis. Although they have never taken a bite out of a skier, some of those expensive water skis seem to be getting some tooth marks on them!

    Good Fishing,
    Mike
