I had some time before work today so I swung into wild goose sports today to check out some less expencive fishing poles. I was talking to one of the guys there about poles when he said I should talk to the guy who makes their custom fishing poles, I thought what the hek. I can’t remember his first name, but his last name was dickie. Nice guy. The first guy I talked to made a sugestion to make a custom pole the same colors of my sidecar fishing rig. Now thats something I hadn’t thought of but was a great idea for the car shows, a matching fishing rod. He went back to his work area and came out with some examples of his work and matching string color of the rig and chrome pieces for a pole. He said he could make a nice matching pole. I offered to send him some business from the car shows with the mathing pole so we agreed on a great price. I can’t wait to see this piece of art. Troy Pike

    Troy,

Sure wish you had talked to me first. I could have done a much better deal for you! Oh well. Mr. Dickie does fine work, but he has nothing on Mike Fischer – the custom rod builder at HOF. Mike just got through making a rod that has Harley’s on it – talk about a piece of art!
