Rumor has it that Hooked On Fishings own ”Jake” and his fishing partner took 2nd. place in the Walleye Searchers Tournament Today [Sunday 7-11-04] out Of Lake City, Mn. Way to go guys! I suppose his head will be soooooooo big now that Mike will have to widen the door when Jake comes to work Monday morning. Does anyone think he will ever quit talking about this one? Congrats Jake and Kerry and Congrats to 1st place team Greg and John and 3rd place team Dave and Tom.
    Thanks, Bill

Congrats Mr. Jake! Such a humble lovable young man! I guess Kerry’s nightcrawlers soaked in pickle juice did the trick.

    Good Fishing,
    Mike

The goofball does more than just take up space in the boat, he can catch fish too.

Jeeeeze Kerry………you didn’t even tell me my hat was crooked .

At least you did a good job of background management. I don’t think anybody is going to figure out “our” secret spot from that pic

Brian, he has Mike Fischer [the rod maker] to cover for him when hes out fishing. Mike stuck Jake down at the south store mostly where hopefully he won’t hurt himself. If he does, hes too far away to hear his cry for help. I wonder how many times he hit his head trying to get into the building today when he came to work since its so swollen from all that ”hot press” he got from the fishing tournament.
Mike, did you finally talk Mike F. into putting it on for you? I know he said he wouldn’t cause then you would be gone fishin all the time. :
    Thanks, Bill

Jake in the south store??? Not the last 3 times I’ve stopped there!! Not sure how he’ll be able to afford school this fall for as much as he works.
Of course with his big fish and trophy status maybe he’s hitting the pro circuit.

Just to set the record a little more straight – Jake works at either store, basically where I need him to fill in. Now get ready for this news flash – Jake is a pretty good worker! (no, you can’t have a raise Jake)

    Good Fishing,

I know that Jake is a hard worker, Why just the last time I was there he was closely inspecting the counter top. At the same time it look as if he was giving them a spit shine, you know for his head was on the counter and droll was coming out of his mouth.
Now that I think about it, he was also meditating and practicing some sort of new deer or walleye call. With his eyes closed and the snorts coming from him it was amazing how hard he works .
