Had a couple hours today, so tried the fishing pier at Fisherman’s Inn on Lake Zumbro.
Would I recommend it? Well, I didn’t get skunked but it was slow.
Spent three hours and the results were as follows: two nice crappies, both 12 inches, but only the two, three nice bluegills, between 7 and 7 1/2, keepers, a sheephead, two smallmouth bass and one big nasty northern that turned and smiled at me as he took my two pound test line for a quick snap.
I guess if you are patient and have time, you can try and break my record. Jigs tipped with waxworms about two feet under the bobber and cast parallel to the shoreline staying in about 4 feet of water.

Thanks for the update Ron and if the rest of us could of caught only half of what you caught we would of had more fun than work today. Thanks, Bill
