    Fished zumbro lake Tue morning just as the no wake ended. Caught a few bass large and smallmouth, several sunnies and crappies. The bass spinners were to fast for the pattern, small jigs seem to work well for all.

    Thanks for the report. Great to see it opened up again. Its so close and has so many species in there that if one species isn’t biting another will. When you stop and think about it, we are really spoiled in this area. There are so many bodies of water that are close to Rochester to fish plus we have fantastic streams for trout along with a trout lake and a world class walleye and sauger fishery in the Mississippi River/Lake Pepin.

    Yep, we are very fortunate to have such a large variety of good fishing close to Rochester! Some days it’s tough to figure out which body of water to go to, just because there are so many good choices.
