Went out to Lake Zumbro fishing/playing today and the water was pretty good and clear in the lower half of the lake [Fishermans Inn on down and even clearer down further]. In the afternnon I noticed some sticks showing up as they were drifting down stream. Only used plastics, B-Fish-N Tackle Ringworms and K-tails, as I was bass fishing and the ones I caught, all casting to shore, were mostly small bass but alot of fun. I bought a Minnkota Copilot for my front trolling motor and this was the first time using it. My experience with it today was great. I love the thing. It is so handy to use. I wear the remote on my right wrist like a watch and fish and cast with a spinning rod/reel and it works great. I can move around anywhere in the boat and still have perfect control of the front trolling motor with it. When fishing an area where there are waves or wind instead of trying to fight it I just faced the front of the boat into the wind/waves and fished out of the back of the boat and when the boat got closer towards shore from the wind or waves from a passing boat I just hit a button on the remote which is on my wrist and the boat goes out forward from the shore and when its at the correct distance I just hit the off botton. Worked great! Another toy to spoil us fisherman.
    Thanks, Bill

    Hey Bill,

Did ya notice that BEAUTIFUL black blazer you parked next to in the lot (the one with the walleye searchers sticker on it)?

Yep but I couldn’t find you. You must of been hiding. What color is your boat again? Green? Yammy motor?
