Batteries

    I know this has been beat to death around here but are certain brand deep cycle batteries better than others? I know that there are the super batteries usually at a super price but I am talking an average deep cycle battery for the average Joe fisherman. I had a NAPA deepcycle/starter battery and run it 4 years. Went to charge it this spring wouldn’t take a charge. Took it to NAPA they checked it yup it is shot checked its born on date brought me out a new one and said the new one would cost $33.00. I though woow! this isn’t to bad to get some warrenty on a battery that has been beat to death.

    I have never found one battery to be a lot better than another, but I’m sure some are made to last longer and are probably more expensive.
