fishing report 5-1 zumbro river

    i fished the zumbro under the bringe on broadway by silverlake today for about a half hour and man was the deep hold hot. i got 3 carp weighing in at #2#6and a pretty big one that topped out my #10 scale. along with the carp i also caught a few bluegill and one smallmouth, it was only a #2 fish though. all in all it was really hot action today the only reason i stopped fishing after a half an hour is i live like 20 minutes away, all the shops were closed by then, and i huge fish of some sort broke my 20# test!!! oh yea all fish were caught with sweet corn.

    Thanks for the report Ben. Just goes to show there are good fishing spots right here in Rochester where a person can wet a line no matter how much or how little time you have at the moment. Fishing Fixes are easy to abtain close to home.
