Question I am throwing out there. I have tried to figure out how to get on to this lake for some ice fishing but I am having a hard time finding the correct place to park and walk out. People have described it to me but I am still having no luck. Is there anyways someone could post a picture with the location on it so I would know where to park or send me an email or personal message me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Crappie Tom posted this awhile ago.

Take 2nd street SW out to the Manor. At the light, take a right. Take the very first right off the county road and stay to your right a short distance then veer left to the end of that street. You’ll be on Lachencrest Lane. Park next to the bike path and head to the lakes from there….you’ll be traveling east and will need to cross a foot bridge….another couple hundred yards and you will see a lake on your left and another on the right. The lake on the right has better fish.

Be careful of the ice out there, we haven’t had the usual winter and it could be thin in places. Further down on the lake to the right there are some springs that can surprise you. I’ve seen more than a couple people come slogging back with frozen clothes. However, at this point of the winter, I think you’re going better “larger-fish” fishing will come from this lake. The big lake to the left will have lots of fish, but smaller as a rule.
