    but its fixed now!!!! and i’ve never really fished open water this early before what would be the bait(s) to use on panfish this early?? and start deep or shallow?

    Welcome back!
    Your question is very general and the answer could be based on lots of factors including where you intend to fish. Generally, you should have some minnows and small jigs (hair or plastic) and some waxworms. I like to fish the jigs or minnows below a bobber. You will need to experiment to find the best depth, but 6 ft. is a good starting point if you’ve got some deep water. Submerged wood is usually an important factor for finding any numbers of fish.
