Went for a little ride late afternoon today out to Lake Zumbro and at Fishermans Inn the water was open for as long as I could see in either direction. The ice is still there at the Ponderosa Supper Club area so Im guessing from Ryans Bay there is still ice down to the dam. But it did look like the ice near the dam was breaking up though. Its getting closer. Am hoping to get out on the Mississippi River next weekend to burn up some old gas with stabil in it in the boat and make sure everything is running ok on the boat and give the o’l back a trial run.
