Hey you guys!!!! Anybody been hitting on the ice? Come on guys I know your out there. If this doesn’t work we will have to go back to picking on poor Jake, yeah , yeah I know (LOL) So give old #5 some reports boys. 
There is still a lot of ice at the dike road and West Newton – about 15+ inches. The catching has been a little on the slow side, but you can get some decent fish if you work at it. Most of the Rochester ponds still have some ice. People are fishing on Foster Arends and getting trout. Sounds like Chester Woods ice might getting a little iffy. As always, be careful if you decide to go out on this late season ice. It can change rapidly from day to day. Use an ice spud to find the good ice!
