Just like to share a little panfishing report.
Spent the weekend fishing and camping roberts lake in fairbault. First off we stayed at roberts lake resort. Very nice little camp grounds that still takes good care of us fisherman. Bob the operator owner of the resort started out by hookung up to my boat and takinf me around to the public landing so i didnt have to mess with it on the RV.
After getting the boat all taken care of and camp set we headed out. The water was as green as pea soup with a alge bloom in full swing. The fish didnt seem to care we tooled around a bit looking at the electronics finding a few spots in the 10 to 12 foot range holding some schools of fish. We droped anchor and started fishing. It took a bit to get the fish diald down but once we put a color and presintation together we caught tons of sunnies and bluegills. With good numbers of 10 inch fish.. Really 10 inchers. We got a lot of smaller ones but some real good ones mixed in.. shartruse jig head with shartruse gulp waxies jigged then rested on the bottom for a few seconds triggered most bites.
Camping was great. Nice clean bathrooms. Great hosts and fresh made donuts every mourning is hard to beat. I would definatly recomend staying here. If nothing else stop by and pick up some donuts on your way out..
