Rivers with SMBs

    Would guess that would be a good reference after I have been out there-not sure if it would help me know if a 16′ G3 boat drafting at 1.5′ would be able to fish that particular stretch of river-Thanks though.

    Yeah rivers been low in elk river. and fishing has been not as good as years past. I grew up fishing this stretch daily.

    IMO, The true problem is not what you draft, it is getting to the spots. The lower unit may find something very undesirable while moving from spot to spot.
    Like any river, there are places you will be safe and places you are not.
