River Smallmouth

I’ve gotten burned out on ice fishing so I took a trip up 94 to hit the Mississippi for some river smallies. While I didn’t run into any giants the bite did not disappoint. They were hitting a Strike King KVD jerkbait and a weightless, texas rigged white Moxie from B Fish n Tackle.

Ignore my awful on screen persona, James and the IDO crew really do make that look easy. I haven’t quite figured it out in my new hobby yet. Also not sure how to upload a video so I guess I’ll just put the in the link.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. You sound a hell of a lot better than me. I could only watch the first few minutes at work here, but I liked it.

Now I am listening to your Tatula review in the background. This weekend I’m testing out the Tatula SV TW for the first time.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Just having some fun with learning how to edit videos and trying to come up with cool shots. Pug, let me know how you like that Tatula! I’ve been really happy with mine.

Whats your channel name? I’ll subscribe to you. Love watching bass fishing from FL. I keep telling myself I need to get down there.

It’s not a fishing channel, it’s my personal channel, but I have grouped my pond fishing under a playlist.

    my channel

I am considering doing a retention pond scouting and fishing tips video. I’m curious to see what kind of activity I would get.

It sure would be nice to create a channel I could monetize, but until I get a boat, I can’t create anything too exciting. When I do get a boat I think I’m going to invest in more cameras. Google has made it tough to monetize with the new rules.

Eventually it may serve as videos supplimenting a blog my wife and I are starting.

Nice. I just subscribed. I would love to get to the level of being able to monetize but yeah, it’s tough. My initial goal was to have fun with it, and if I got a big enough following maybe try and go for a low level sponsor or two. Something to support the addiction. Also to connect with other fishing fanatics.
