    I would think the Saturday closest to the 20th. They haven’t been very good about updating their web-site this year.

    MN archery opener is the 19th, MN waterfowl is the 26th……..count me out

    Yep, nothing but crickets here for quite some time it seems like.

    I was out last Friday, and saw some very large schools of shad, but could not get anything to go except a really nice smallie, and a small catfish, upon which I then proceeded to lose me net of the past 8 years ….. I got the fish on crawlers

    I’m pulling some smaller saugs and eyes but haven’t seen anything real nice the last few outtings

    56 people fished only 7 teams weighed fish

    Sean Kazel (sp?) Big Walleye 3.74lbs
    Nyberg and Meyers Heaviest Stringer 7.58lbs
    Peyton Johnson Biggest Ugliest Fish with a 39.2lb flathead

    It was a great bite for 14″ and under walleye. My boat seen a lot of walleye all under the 15″ mark, no saugers and a sheepshead. Seemed to be the going rate with the rest of the field
