I caught my new PB flathead that measured out at a ridiculous 50 inches!!! It had also had a 31 inch girth. Definetely one of my most memorable catches to date.

Saw that tank on FB…Just think how many walleye that sucker ate to get that size! Got to love those flats!!

What’s the estimated weight on that?

Congrats. And I will bet in your life time you catch a larger one!

I’d guess the weight to be right at or barely under 60 pounds. There are Definetely bigger flat ties in the croix. Last year around this time, I saw someone pull in a monster 52×32 flattie. I just hope it doesn’t take more than a couple more years to get a bigger one.

Sweet Fish. You have a new MN Catch & Release Record if you submit an application. Easy to do – go for it, Charlie. That is a beautiful fish.

I fished the bridge last night with no luck. The gulls were chasing shad on the WI side just south of the bridge. Lots of bait in the area.
