Looks like predictions for the No WAKE law/rule to be lifted by noon on Thursday (682.90). Should be a great weekend for the Hamm Room

I was out last Sunday and was surprised how many people were running full wake on the south end of the Criox. Also FBR I think we crossed paths too. The blade and jigging rap bite was fun. However, more fun was getting all the free tackle from pulling snagged things off the river bottom.

The oddest thing I brought up Sunday was 3 sides of a window sash.

Yeah I was out in the AM. Handed a few jigging raps to another boater and watched him start to slam the fish too. ) that’s always fun.

Here I stayed home yesterday because of all the poor reports. Was the water running clean or lots of debris on the lower Croix?

I fished Sunday and didn’t see much debris.

Are you guys finding nice walleyes on the river now. I’m thinking about launching at the boomsite Saturday now that it’s coming down a bit. What areas are you guys fishing. I talked the lady friend in to spending mothers day on my boat after I make breakfast. ( don’t think she realized breakfast will be served at 4am and on the river by 530)

Found a bunch of nice walleyes saturday afternoon pulling crawlers. Was fun to be back on the croix for the first time this year. Only one rough fish, a pesky smallmouth, the rest were are walleyes.
