    So the border waters of the Mississippi are open all year for bass-So who fishes them this time of year? And how?

    Certain sandy holes with just the right habitat will hold smallies in huge numbers. As soon as the water temps are right, they disburse very quickly and will be on schools of shiners.

    Large mouth will be in more slack water with weeds. As the water warms a little, look for wood. More sun, they go to rocks
