Rippin Rap/ Rip n Rap Hook Replacement

I have a couple of rippin raps that got broke off due to snagging some timber. I can’t seem to find the size of the front hook and back hook for the size 6 rippin rap. (2 1/2)

I’m just looking to replace with the same size as what it comes with (VMC black nickel hooks). Although, I’m curious if anyone is using any other hooks…?? maybe Gamakatsu Extra Wide Gaps (EWG) or anything else…??

Those will be VMC hooks and it’s possible that it’s a size 5. VMC makes a 5 and I’m not sure if any other manufacturer does. An Owner ST36 is a great treble hook

Love the lure, but the original hooks aren’t the best. Replace front and back with size 5 Gamakatsus round bend trebles and be happy. You’ll catch nearly every fish.

Another vote here for replacing with larger hooks.
