RIP Pee Wee

    A few years ago my kids found episodes of Pee Wee’s Playhouse on Netflix. They thought it was some crazy new kids show and then I explained that I watched that show when I was their age. So I sat down for a few episodes with them and learned 2 things:

    1. It still holds up, it was and still is wildly creative and the kids loved it.

    2. Watching as an adult, I couldn’t fathom the amount of drugs the writers must’ve smoked creating that show.

    I’m sure they were. I know he was in at least two Cheech and Chong movies.

    Never got into his comedy or whatever it was he did.

    Loved it as a kid, haven’t thought about em for years, it’s scary how much I’ve held on to….

    Yeah, you can hear it in ur head now, don’t pretend u can’t….
