I have just upgraded my electronics and have done the wiring/installation myself. I am curious what a shop would have charged me.
2 Solix units. 2 transducers. 2 Mega lives. All networked together. 1 stand alone battery. 1 new fuse box and four rocker switches.

Lots of places won’t rig anything they didn’t sell. I’ve found rates to be anywhere from $100 per hour to $150 per hour plus parts.

    Thank you Dutchboy.
I am still curious to see if anyone has had a similar setup installed on a older boat and what the charges were.

What would you have charged? Figure your time and parts and you will know. I know what I paid and I also know what it was worth to me to A) have it done correctly the first time and B) not have to do it myself. I’m to old to be crawling around pulling wire. When I was 30 it wouldn’t have cost me squat but today I’m not 30 anymore.
