Just got the call the crew at SCB have started rigging the new boat. Moving my Ulterra, 1198 & 859 from the old boat to the new boat. I’ll also have a Onix 10 wired in. Much more technology then I know how to use. crazy

This will be my last boat so hopefully I figure everything out before my last days.

Looks nice! But how do you see o er those big flat screens to drive the boat? Especially at night with them on. Even with the brightness turned way down that must be distracting? Im not a hater, just curious?

It’s a tiller so they are mounted on my side. I don’t fish or boat at night anymore so brightness won’t be a issue.

Part of getting a new boat is rigging it. Then everything is done the way it should be. I am sure that sbc does a fine job and will put equipment where you want it. Letting someone else drill holes in my brand new boat ain’t happening.

Tom, ya gotta believe in somebody sometime I guess. I’d rather have someone else to blame then to mess it up myself. grin

Until they prove me wrong I’ll trust them guys at SBC. applause

How are you liking the locators mounted in that location? They seem a bit high to fish over the top of. I have a WX2000T coming that I will be rigging myself. I was thinking of laying down a Cisco track on the flat part there or on the angled portion behind it and attaching Cisco mounts to the track. That way I have a little left to right flexibility and I can easily add or swap out units and mounts if I ever re-rig.

Believe it or not today was the first day on the water with it. Yes the locators sit a little high but it won’t hinder my style of fishing. Sounds like tracks will work well for you Matt. Enjoy the boat. grin
