    My wonderful wife got me a used weber smokey mountain for fathers day and today I got to try it out for the first time. I will be working out some kinks in the cooking process but happy with the results so far.

    Kept the temps on the lower end throughout the cook 225. Spritzed with apple cider vinegar every 30 minutes starting 3 hours into the cook. Used oak and hickory. Took about 6.5 hours total. I did not wrap

    Rub looks good. Smoke ring decent, have some bark. Looks like you are doing well. Now the important thing. Dont worry about our critique. How did it all taste? Tender? How did you and your family like them? That’s what is important!.
