If any of you are in to experimenting. we have a crab apple tree thats perfectly ripe. so i exchanged the rhubarb for sliced cored crab apples. it just got done and Its a winner to my buds. we also have a plum tree loaded with ripe plums. so I have a batch going with plums. Its coming along nicely. I think it will be a hit also.

chunk it up and freeze it in a vacuum sealed bag like you would raspberries, plums, etc.

Nice! I just finished my first batch too. I sent a couple pints home with my niece last night and have 6 left. I have a quart bag full of cut up rhubarb in the fridge and a lot more in the yard.

I really like the liqueur so there will be one batch of strawberry/rhubarb jam and the rest is going to liqueur. toast
