I bought a new shanty that is fully insulated. After taking a close look at it with windows closed or considering night fishing, I decided I want the RGBW led lights. Ill have a storage console very similar to a pickup between the two seats. This will easily hold the 2 0r 3 12v/14amph. Batteries I have, charge port, usb adapter, and light switches.
    So 2 questions
    1 12V or 24v? Why?
    2. Which brand for outdoor or underwater rated. Reading through reviews, so many complaints on only lasting a couple days.

That guy you talked to at the landing last spring, and a friend of his got theirs from superbrightleds. So far,no issues with them.12 volt, one has white and the other has blue.I think cool white is easier on the eyes in low light.

IF I were you I would not use rgbw in your hut unless you have an outlet close by, they use an extreme amount of power I would use just natural white as it’s not too bright but it would be better

Your right. I initially thought it was 3.5watts per 25′ roll. Wrong. 3.5 watts per foot. Dang details. So that’s only about 4 hours per battery. Bummer
