Repairing / Replacing Surge Brakes

    Have a 22 year old EZ Loader dual axle trailer with surge brakes. Brake fluid is rust colored and brakes are not working. What is involved in repairing/replacing the brake system? Recommendations for a good shop or mechanic in NW suburbs?

    I would try power bleeding them first, if that does not work then take it in. Good thing they are not all that compilated.

    I had mine fixed at Crystal Welding last summer–not far from you. They’re probably quite busy, though. They were swamped last summer.
