Can I remove the US2 wire on my terrova without just cutting it? I am not currently using it and it just gets in the way but I don’t want to remove it permanently. The reason I ask is I am replacing my I-pilot head unit with I-pilot link and just hate all of the excess wire I am not using. Thanks

Have you removed the top of the head? 4 screws from the bottom? there is a connector that will allow you to remove the extension cable under that top.

That’s good to know and a good feature. Do not cut the wires under any circumstances.

Perfect there is a little screw that let’s you remove the cable. Can I get my link head unit to learn my old I-Pilot remote? I’m trying to get it to but it never does the 3 chirps. Thanks for the responses

That is a bit disappointing. You’d think since they make the mini remote that works for both they’d all be able to connect together.
